Chair of the Insitu chapter of Boeing Women Inspiring Leadership (BWIL) for 2024-2025, a two year, part-time position held concurrently with my primary role as Graphic Artist III.

Senior Graphic Designer
Sierra Instruments, Monterey, CA | February 2014–May 2018

  • Project manager for the redesign of the website: managed a cross-disciplinary team including a designer, several software engineers, and marketing personnel to design, develop and go live with the new website. Extensive research was done throughout the project lifecycle. Usability tests were conducted throughout the project timeline and designs altered based on testing results’ data. Extensive overhaul of the eCommerce process to make it easier for customers to submit orders. Key stakeholders were kept updated and gave input throughout the project.

  • Lead design projects from start to end. Create human centered design, graphic design, marketing and branding design solutions to generate leads, scale in exponential growth / optimize Sierra’s business goals. Designs were based on data and research. 

  • Conduct research from Google Analytics / AdWords to develop narratives based on solutions to customer pain points using eblasts, web pages, online ads, infographics, posters, brochures, evergreen content, and online promotions to build and maintain customer relationships

Store Operations Specialist I
West Marine, Watsonville, CA | July 2009–March 2010

  • Web design, development and content management of the Stores section of HomePort (IBM’s WebSphere CMS). Evaluated and made all web pages cross browser compatible. Restyled the site using CSS.

  • Project manager, designer, and editor of the West Marine News, a bi-weekly published newspaper for associates. Work with external printer to get West Marine Newsprinted

  • Designed the West Marine University 2010 website and logo. Managed external company to get website developed.

  • Created  training videos: filmed video footage, edited video in Final Cut Pro, and produced DVDs
